6 New Creative (and Delicious) S’mores Recipes

If you need a dessert for your next camping trip, you can’t go wrong with the classic marshmallow, chocolate, and graham cracker combo. Smores have been a campfire staple for more than 90 years, and we have the Girl Scouts to thank for the first official recipe.

A recipe for “Some More” appears in their 1927 guidebook Tramping and Trailing With The Girl Scouts and instructs readers to make a dessert sandwich using graham crackers, broken chocolate bars, and toasted marshmallows.

It’s a time-tested treat that’s become synonymous with summer, but maybe it’s time to try a new twist on this old favorite. We’re sharing some of the tastiest s’more-inspired dessert recipes—from fudgy brownies to a cookie pizza. Most of the following desserts can (and should) be made ahead of time. Store them in a cooler until you’re ready to eat!

Here are 6 Tasty Smores Recipes you can enjoy around the campfire, or in your oven at home.
